The Mount Pleasant City Commission will meet in regular session on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the Tom Hardin Room at City Hall. 

The following item will be on the agenda for public hearing, discussion and approval:

(a)   Ordinance 2026-1149 - (Public Hearing/Final Reading) - An Ordinance repealing and replacing Title 1, Chapter 6, Public Records Policy, of the City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee 

The public is invited to attend this meeting.  This notice is given as provided in T.C.A., §8-44-103. There will be an opportunity for the public to make comments. Anyone wanting to speak on an agenda item listed may do so by signing up before the meeting begins.

Board of Zoning Appeals Public Hearing Meeting

The Mount Pleasant Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing to consider the following requests:

Public Hearing, Conditional Use Permit – Applicant/Owner: Byron Jones, 414 N Locust St
Tax Map: 133G Group K | Parcel: 001.00

The applicant is requesting a Conditional Use Permit to allow the placement of a 20' x 24' metal-clad accessory building to be located in the rear yard of the property.
