The Mount Pleasant Board of Commissioners will meet in a special called meeting on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Tom Hardin Room at City Hall. The Board of Commissioners will meet to study, discuss, and deliberate on the following items:

1.     City of Mount Pleasant 2026 Strategic Plan. The purpose of the Strategic Plan is to establish long-term goals, annual objectives, and detailed actions/strategies that address issues to performance, productivity, required statutory services, and community and personal well-being. The 2026 Strategic Plan will update the 2023 Strategic Plan.

The public is invited to attend.  There will be an opportunity for the public to make comments. A sign-up sheet for those wanting to make comments will be in the foyer.

The City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, Board of Commissioners will conduct Study Sessions at 6:00 p.m. on the Thursday preceding the regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners each month.  Study Sessions will be held at the Mount Pleasant City Hall in the Tom Hardin Room for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026, these Study Sessions will be held on the following dates:

• Thursday, September 11, 2025

• Thursday, October 16, 2025

The public is invited to attend City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee Study Sessions.

The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee is held at 6:00 p.m. on the third (3rd) Tuesday of each month at the Mount Pleasant City Hall in the Tom Hardin Room. 

For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026, the regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners will be held on the following dates:
