Winter Storm Fern - Sanitation Pickup

The Mount Pleasant Sanitation Department will begin residential trash collection on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

Due to current road conditions, collection crews may be unable to access all residences on the first attempt.

All City Residents are requested to place their trash containers at the roadside no later than 6:00 AM on Wednesday. Please leave the containers by the road until we are able to reach your location.

When your trash has been collected, please remove your container from the roadside promptly. This will assist staff in identifying which locations still require service.

The City appreciates your cooperation as we work to reach all households as road conditions permit.
